“Fields of tobacco, as far as the eye can see, now cross my mind, all green all around…
At the attic in my childhood home, I’m thinking now, where tobacco leaves, dried before me, have been left dry for decades…
I sit outside, and the wind brings metallic notes to my arms, from an old blacksmith’s shop on the edge of the village, where once animals were shod.
I go up to the church on the hill, to smell the fir tree and the incense from the old altar.
This is a rudimentary story of the inner senses from the tunnel of time”
